Engagement Pictures

On July 3rd Bret and I got our engagement pictures taken at the KOA! It was a beautiful day here in Washington and we had a lot of fun doing it. Trish Loop took the pictures and they turned out fabulous. She has such a gift for photography and will do a great job at the wedding so if you are attending, you better smile!

Wedding Shower with Friends

Sandy and Dori, above, had a wonderful shower for me at Floridinos, my favorite place to eat in Chandler, Arizona! What a wonderful time with friends. We played some great games, had a glass of wine, ate, and chatted. What a great evening! Thanks girls. I am really going to miss you!

Dori got cupcakes from sprinkles! My favorite is the Red Velvet! Thanks girl!

Ok, so it has been a little while since I have blogged. But 2 weeks ago, I got to fly first class to Kansas City to visit Bret. The best part is that you can have wine, before the flight, during the flight, and right before you land! It was great. Thanks to Matt and Christine Rees. I took some pictures just incase you did not believe me!

When I was in Kansas, Bret and I decided to dive up to Lawrence. That is the town where the KU campus is and the college that Bret graduated from. I really enjpy this town. It has some great places to eat and lots to see. When we were walking about downtown, we noticed all these funny looking cars. We went to see what it was about and they were having an ART ON THE GO parade! I guess they have parades all the time. There were TONS of cars decorated, so I thought I would share a few of them with you!

3 Amazing Women

These 3 ladies had the most amazing shower for me! What a wonderful evening filled with happiness, friends, famliy, and even a glass of wine! We had it at the Inspirador, an amazing venue outside under the stars. These women will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for a wonderful evening and as our paths in life are about to change, remember, we are all a phone call away. I love you! Thanks for being so special to me.

Windy Day

Today was a very windy day at the Grand Canyon. We drove up on Friday after school and stayed at a friends house in Prescott and then we woke up in the morning and headed to the Grand Canyon. After a long 3 hour drive through Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, and then to the IMAX to watch the video, we finally saw the HOLE in the ground. When they say it is GRAND, it is very big. It was amazing and I am sad to say it has taken me 3 years to see this thing. The winds were extreme as you can tell by the hair in this picture. But we had a wonderful time!
